Kalama Horse Camp

Horse1 This campground has 17 camp sites, suitable for double occupancy (two   trucks and trailers), and 7 single family camp sites (one truck and trailer).  Two group sites accommodate three to four families. Corrals and a high line are available. Some may need care so help out where you are able.
Campground has:
* Picnic area with horseshoe pit
* Group picnic shelter with stove
* Lounging area
* Loading ramp
* Staging area with stock water trough - (Stock water is available,but not      potable water for human use)
* Hitching posts
* Mounting assist area
* Bins for manure disposal and PLEASE toss manure to the back of the bin,       and ask your camp neighbors to do the same..
All campsites include a table, fire ring, and one or more corrals.

The campground loop trail allows easy access to the main trailhead. A trailhead parking area, found at the east end of the campground has parking for day use.
Trails accessible from the camp include Trail 231, 238, 237, 242 and 204 which will provide short and long rides. Over 50 miles of trails and closed roads are available from the campground.

 

Please carry hand held pruners and a trail saw to help open the trail systems
Any little bit helps because it all adds up.
