Elbe Hills/Nicholson Horse Trail System
Sahara Horse Camp is located 5 miles out of Elbe toward Ashford just past mile post 5 on the left side of the highway. This camp has two handicapped camping sites, a ramp for wheelchairs, a restroom facility and water for human and horse. A ‘handicapped trail (extra wide for sidewalker) is also provided. Group picnic building and drive through campsites with highline poles. You bring the rope.

		Elbe Hills is FUN. You can really explore out here on this nob. On the other side is a ORV park. Sahara Creek Horse Camp is very comfortable for your rig and animal. The poles are there for your highline rope. Please have the horse areas cleaned up before you leave.




		I think this bridge has been replaced.




		Even the snow is fun to ride in. You watch for little indents where trails take off.
